Longarm Memberships:
We here at Fabric Bash love our longarm memberships, or Carpe Quiltem, which means seize the quilt. We developed them to help our quilters quilt more and help budget their longarm time. The longarm membership is a program that allows a discount to those who want their account automatically billed every month. The hours for each longarm membership will accrue each month and if not used they will remain on the quilter's account. A quilter can sign up on our web page at Carpe Quiltem Membership.
We have four APQS Millenium machines dedicated for our rental program. The day is broken up between two shifts, 9 am – 1 pm and 1 pm – 5 pm (or 4 pm on Fridays and Saturdays). The average quilter can complete a twin or full size quilt in less than 4 hours. A queen size or larger will take longer, so the quilter will need to book two sessions in a row because of the extra time needed. The quilter will only be charged for the time they use.
There are three levels of longarm memberships. All memberships are $12.50 per hour (two hour minimum) compared to $13.50 (two hour minimum) in store. And yes, we are keeping the Latin theme:
Three Levels of Carpe Quiltem:
Carpe Quiltem Minimus – This longarm membership is for the occasional quilterm but active quilter. The quilter will accrue two hours per month for a fee of $25.00.
Carpe Quiltem Medius – This longarm membership is for the quilter who is a bit more dedicated. The quilter will accrue four hours per month for a fee of $50.00. Four hours can easily be used once a month. Also with this level of the longarm membership, the quilter will receive 25% off one pantograph per month.
Carpe Quiltem Maximus – This longarm membership is for the very dedicated quilter. The quilter will accrue six hours per month for a fee of $75.00 per month. At this level the quilter will receive 50% off one pantograph per month.
Fabric Bash loves our longarms and our quilters, those who choose to use our longarm membership and those that do not. The hum of our machines makes our hearts sing because quilts are being completed. An extra bonus for us is that we get to see all those amazing quilts that the quilters make.
